About
Palazzina Maresa è una storica residenza di famiglia costruita nel 1926 a Firenze.
It was recently carefully restored to preserve its character while opening it to a contemporary renewal. Eight young local designers were invited to reinterpret the spirit of the decade in which the building was created—the 1920s—through a modern approach. Their visions have given shape to eight distinct apartments for medium to short stays, each realized with its own materials, historical references, and craftsmanship.
These differences are not merely decorative but express the individuality of each designer, while together forming a coherent narrative within the palazzina.
In addition to the apartments, Palazzina Maresa includes shared spaces, gardens, and working studios dedicated to local artists. At its center is an exhibition space that regularly opens to the community, hosting events, temporary shows, and collaborative projects. In this way, the palazzina is not conceived as an exclusive place, but as a living environment where hospitality and cultural production naturally converge.
